As you all are aware, Ramadan is approaching and we are going to be giving away Zakaat to our brethren. This year around, there is a special opportunity for us to have our Zakat money safely spent and transferred to those who are in dire need. Yes, we are speaking about our beloved brothers and sisters that have been adversely affected by the recent floods. Almost 3.2 million people have lost their homes due to the floods and over a thousand casualties are reported so far. These people are our brothers and sisters and will be needing both food and shelter in order to be able to fast during the month of Ramadhan. Every one of them that is able to fast with our support will be sadqa-e-jaariyah for us insha'ALLAH. Our team members will be heading to Peshawar to carry out our duty with your support. For all those who remember, last year, we did similar aid work in the SWAT region worth upto Rs. 4 million for the IDPs of Swaat and Malakand during the Army operation in that region.

On the 10th, 11th and 12th of August, we will be visiting flood affected areas to distribute Ramadan Family food packages to as many families as we can. Each package will contain the following items:-
