ISLAMABAD—Officials of a security agency on Tuesday detained two diplomats working at the Embassy of Netherlands in a sensitive area of metropolis and recovered arms, ammunition as well as explosives from their possession.
The diplomats were later released on the intervention of top diplomatic officials from embassy of their country and that of US embassy. Sources in the Police Station Secretariat informed that officials of a security agency intercepted a Dark Blue BMW at 11.30 am roaming suspiciously between Marriott Hotel and Pakistan Secretariat.
On search, the officials of the agency recovered two handguns, four magazines, two smoke grenades, two flash bombs, six bullet proof jackets and some other material from the car and detained two diplomats Mr. Smith and Mr. William. Meanwhile, the police rushed to the spot where the diplomats arrested with contraband failed to provide any licence or documents. “They were unable to provide any justification for being armed and keeping bombs,” the sources informed. Police was planning to take the Netherlanders to police station when the top diplomatic officials from US and Netherlands intervened. [Daily Mail]
This comes just two days after a Greek national was arrested at Karachi airport attempting to smuggle a handgun onboard an Emirates Airlines flight to Dubai, hidden in his laptop.

KARACHI: As anger mounts over the degrading language and observations in the Kerry-Lugar Bill on Pakistan’s military services and intelligence agencies, the Army conveyed its part of protest to the United States when Commander of International Forces in Afghanistan General Stanley McChrystal met Army chief General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani at the GHQ on Tuesday, informed officials said.
These officials said that General Kayani told General McChrystal that like the Pakistani people, the military and intelligence services were furious at the observations made on Pakistan’s security establishment in the Kerry-Lugar Bill. Kayani also protested over the controversial statements made by some US officials in recent days.
“General McChrystal returned from the GHQ with an unambiguous message that the terms set in the Kerry-Lugar Bill on the national security interests of Pakistan are insulting and are unacceptable in their present formulation,” according to an official familiar with the content of the meeting.
Informed official sources said that the Army’s strong reaction to the Kerry-Lugar Bill was shared in detail with the government when General Kayani met Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Sunday.
In a related development, also on Tuesday, Gilani asked Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi to convey Pakistan’s reservations in his meetings with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Obama’s Special Envoy for Pakistan and Afghanistan Richard Holbrooke and key members of the US Congress.
While Tuesday’s meeting with General McChrystal provided General Kayani with an opportunity to convey the Army’s serious objection to the controversial sections of the bill in detail, he had lodged an initial protest during his meeting with General McChrystal in Kabul, where he had gone last week toattend the tripartite military conference.
The Kerry-Lugar Bill and its impact on national security interests of Pakistan will be a key subject of discussion when the corps commanders and principal staff officers of the Army meet under General Kayani on Wednesday.
While the nation’s response is currently focused at the controversial content of the Kerry-Lugar Bill, the government is also concerned about a growing unregulated arrival and stay of American citizens in Pakistan.
Concerns grew when Pakistanís security agencies recorded various cases of illegal acquisition of weapons by security firms connected with the US Embassy in Pakistan. Prime Minister Gilani, sources said, has already ordered a complete record with specific details and pre-clearance of US citizens entering Pakistan on US government business.

CIA’s mouthpieces in the US media and the Web have been activated to give maximum punch to US threats of bombing Quetta and convincing the international public opinion of the veracity of US intelligence on the presence of Mullah Omar and Osama bin Laden in Balochistan. Separately, and as we predicted in our report A US Counteroffensive In Pakistan, the US embassy has decided to launch a ‘scare campaign’ inside Pakistan, discarding security concerns and opting to intensify television appearances on Pakistani channels in order to create public pressure against the government and especially against the military and the ISI.

CENTURION – Within minutes of Pakistan’s last ball defeat at the hands of Australia at the Centurion ground in South Africa, Indian Minister for Extrenal Affairs S M Krishna has sensationally pointed the finger at Kashmir-based militant group ‘Lashkar-e-Tayba’ which it alleges is supported by Pakistan’s InterServices Intelligence Agency (ISI).

‘We know there is no way Pakistan would have lost to Australia after being in a winning position towards the end. We have intercepted calls from Lashkar-e-Tayba masterminds made to the Pakistan dressing room in those last few minutes of the game. One thing though should be expressly clear: there is no military victory in Afghanistan. Success will be in leaving behind a stable Afghanistan minus Al Qaeda, but not minus what time has begun to define as the Taliban
Obama’s Afghan policy is in a flux. Having inherited it as work in progress, he ended up owning it by default. Of the two, Iraq and Afghanistan, he was committed to retrenching on Iraq, but had to stay the course on Afghanistan.
The difficulty with the ‘war on terror’ has been that it has always remained too open ended. While Bush’s own war was Iraq, he tended to be only gung-ho as a strategy in Afghanistan, never really defining the exact objectives. As a result, in Washington, it is back to the drawing board.
Is it possible to resurrect a war gone awry? Or was it a war that really had no defined end-state to begin with? Again, will only war deliver such an end-state, or should it be a different set of tools? Do they need to define (or re-define) the end? What entails success in Afghanistan? Should they wait to succeed or seek success in a given time to enable a decent exit out of Afghanistan? Obama and his team of experts will spend the next few weeks knocking around ideas in an attempt to seek that elusive objective for which America launched an armed war in Afghanistan.
In response to questions on Gen McChrystal’s sixty-day review on the on-going state of war in Afghanistan, President Obama struck a few right chords. He opined, “I need to know, why I am there,” before he assented to any request to augment troops in Afghanistan. A tad late, but finally he is there in asking the right question.

It’s interesting to note that while both India and Israel with the help of the US, of course, are bent on the break-up of Pakistan – Israelis with the help of its powerful Jewish Lobby in the US and Britain – are also on their way to establish a second little Zionist entity in India next to Muslim Bangladesh and Buddhist Burma. Of course, the later is not a hot topic in India or the West -thanks to the anti-Muslim partnership between Hindu and Jew extremists who own the mainstream media both in India and the West.
The Zionist rabbis (mostly European-Asian Khazars) have been recruiting “the lost Jewish brothers” around the world to replace the native Muslims and Christian Palestinians – in order to fulfil the Zionists’ dream of a Jewish demographic western colony in the Muslim-majority Middle East. In the 1980s, Rabbi Eliyahu Avichail, found some 9,000 lost Jewish souls in a very unexpected place – among the Chin-Kuku-Mizo tribe, which lives in Indian states of Manipur and Mizoram, bordering Mayanmar where Buddhist rulers have been carrying out genocide of Muslim minority (4 million) for decades. In March 2005, Israel’s Chaief Rabbi Shlomo Amar, recognized these Indian tribesmen (Beni Menashe) as “the descendents of prophet Jusuf’s (Joseph) son Menassah. Since then, 1700 of them have been brought to Israel and got them settled on the confiscated Palestinian lands.

The ‘autonomy package’ introduced by the government for the people of Gilgit-Baltistan is a mix of good and bad news. The good news is that the area will now have an autonomous status with a chief minister and a governor. The bad news is that it has been given only a province-like status and has no institutional link with the four provinces or the Pakistani constitution.
It is not yet clear how the Gilgit-Baltistan Empowerment and Self-Governance Order 2009 signed by the president will affect the area’s denizens and other stakeholders. What is obvious, though, is that this is an entirely new experiment in statecraft where a democratically elected government has created a province-like entity through an order.
Prime Minister Gilani’s statement that Gilgit-Baltistan cannot be given constitutional status and representation in parliament because of Pakistan’s commitment to a UN resolution is a lame excuse as there is nothing in it that forbids Pakistan from providing legitimate constitutional rights to the people of Gilgit-Baltistan. After all, Azad Jammu & Kashmir operate under an interim constitution enacted by the AJK Legislative Assembly in 1974.

One of the most famous books in Pakistan, the late Chief Justice Muhammad Munir’s From Jinnah to Zia (1979) has finally received the ultimate rebuttal from a British-born Asian – using only one piece of evidence. Saleena Karim tells the story of how a point of curiosity – based on little more than an issue of grammar – led her to the startling discovery that a quote used by Munir and attributed to Jinnah is in fact a fake. Furthermore this quote has also been used by a number of Pakistani professional writers and scholars, none of whom have thought to check the original transcript of the interview Munir supposedly quoted from.

Taliban were thugs and a strategic burden from the beginning: The army and civilians alike were shocked and alarmed in early April when the TTP militants taking cover under a controversial peace deal, began occupying strategic locations in Buner, Mingora, Malam Jabba and other parts of Malakand. Their worries multiplied when Taliban militants abducted four Pakistan army commandos in the mountainous Buner valley and eventually executed them. “When the pet develops rabies and starts biting its own mentors, it must be put to sleep, no way around it.” This statement that a senior general involved in military operations in the Northwestern Frontier Province (NWFP) told CRSS in late April suggested a definite new realization — if not change of heart altogether — that as far as the military establishment was concerned, the militants had gone too far; until that point, the army’s claims that it was doing its best to hunt down “miscreants” were met with skepticism across the board. The common perception in Pakistan and elsewhere is that the country’s security establishment — because of old relationships with militant outfits — was only shadow-boxing to impress the world and would not harm those it had once created. But the military’s efforts in the Swat Valley and now in Khyber have helped diminish this view — partially at least. In the process, military officials claim, close to 350 soldiers and officers have lost their lives, since the operation in Malakand/Swat region was launched in early May.

Taliban thugs strike again: Two deadly attacks within a space of 24 hours – one in the Khyber agency on Aug 28 and the other in Mingora/Swat next day took over 40 lives. The target again was the security apparatus. In the first instance it was the Khasadars , and in the second members of a new community police force set up to patrol the region were being trained when the attacker detonated his explosives. With these attacks, the militants primarily underscored their resolve to keep intimidating the security apparatus, a pattern Baitullah Mehsud had repeatedly vowed. Even Muslim Khan, the spokesperson for the Swat Taliban, had openly declared the army and other organs of the security apparatus as enemy targets.

Intellectual hostility of Indians: Following the summary dismissal of Jaswant Singh from the BJP for praising Jinnah, several questions keep coming to mind as far as the Indian claim to secularism, democracy and socio-economic justice is concerned. Is most of ‘shining’ India – as a mindset — gridlocked between the desire to be lauded as a secular, liberal society, based on socio-economic justice, and the reality of a society, based on an unjustifiable caste system that stratifies human beings as superiors (Brahmans) and inferiors (Dalits)? Is it a country that justifiably boasts being numerically the largest democracy but whose political leadership, unfortunately, remains guided by undemocratic whims and intolerant attitudes vis-à-vis its neighbors and their leaders? These are some of the paradoxes that struck us during a brief visit to the bustling Indian capital – New Delhi — where the controversy Jaswant Singh’s voluminous book, Jinnah, India, Partition, Independence, had just erupted. Some were lambasting him for being a hypocrite.

Mr. Haqqani’s assertion that deporting Americans found involved in suspicious activity and denying them entry is hurting Pakistan’s image, is idiotic at best and treason at worst. PKKH requests the Pakistan Army and the Inter-Services Intelligence to take note of Mr. Haqqani’s attempt to undermine Pakistan’s national security – and at the very least, immediately put him under surveillance if not on a lamppost in Islamabad.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US Husain Haqqani has written to the foreign secretary and ISI Chief, warning them that harassing Americans or denying them visas hurts the country’s image and can have severe consequences. According to reports published in several media outlets, Haqqani’s letter, dated July 28, 2009, reveals that Pakistan has a blacklist of US journalists and non-government organizations (NGO) that are critical of Islamabad. The ambassador has warned that Pakistan risked hearings in the US Congress and potential restrictions on aid and military sales if US citizens were harassed or intimidated. The letter listed instances where US institutions or journalists were denied visas, harassed or put under surveillance. Mr. Haqqani has demanded explanations for these actions and a copy of the blacklisted American groups and organizations.

Thank you so much for your letter which I received a moment ago. I am glad to see that your work is progressing. A very enthusiastic and active member of the Ittihad told me so a few days ago. About M. Zafar Ali Khan the Ittihad people do not themselves feel sure. However there is plenty of time yet, and we shall soon see how the electorate generally feels about the Ittihad sending their men to the Assembly.
Hoping you are well and looking forward to meeting you.

He further added:
“United India means slavery for the Muslims and complete domination of Hindu imperialistic rule throughout the sub-continent and this is what Congress seeks to attain with constant threat to all everyday and this is what we are determined to resist with all that lies in our power.”
“Pakistan is our deliverance, defence and honor. If we fail then there will be no trace of Muslims and Islam in this Subcontinent. “

On the occasion of Defence Day of Pakistan, we’ve decided to do a short comparison of the Air, Land and Naval forces of Pakistan against those of our rival, India. From failed tank designs, laughable missile ‘capability’ to dud nuclear devices, it turns out Pakistan has done well for itself despite arms embargoes and sanctions from countries that have been lining up to offer their equipment to India. Its never wise to underestimate your foe – however this is intended to be a reality check for the hawks accross the border who wondered why India didn’t attack Pakistan in the aftermath of Mumbai. At the same time, we intend to let those Pakistanis know who wonder if we’ll be able to survive a conventional war with India, that ALLAH is our protector.

Sir looked up and replied sternly…the ADC was taken aback! “Whichever of the Ministers wish to have tea or coffee should drink it before leaving his home or when he returns home. The Nation’s money is for the Nation and not for the Ministers!”

PKKH has learnt from informed sources within the Pakistan Navy that certain high-ranking individuals within the Naval forces are involved in secret construction of operational facilities in Gharo, Sindh, which are intended to serve as a base for around 200 US marines.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that a high ranking official of the Special Service Group Navy (SSGN), which is the commando division of the Pakistan Navy, is involved in the construction of a large complex in GHARO, Sindh, which is described to be purpose built to serve as a base for an army unit – comprising of halls, residential units, and storage facilities. The source has also stressed that the Pakistan Navy had already rejected a similar proposal by the US Armed Forces earlier this year. However, the SSGN official involved had kept the authorities in the dark about the purpose-built facility in Gharo.
Some years back the Navy had decided to shift the SSGN headquarter (PNS Iqbal) from the dockyard to a coastal area, but Gharo was not the likely sight at the time. Because there has been a sudden increase in assistance to the SSGN from the US, questions are being raised whether this shifting of the SSGN to Gharo is actually a ruse to allow US Marine “trainers” to arrive there in large numbers on the pretext of training the SSGN commandos in newly-acquired weapons and tactics?
UPDATE September 3rd:
The source has also stressed that the Pakistan Navy had already rejected a similar proposal by the US Armed Forces earlier this year. However, the SSGN official involved, along with some help from other individuals, had kept the authorities in the dark about the purpose-built facility in Gharo. The top leadership of PAKISTAN NAVY was unaware of these plans at the time of publishing this report.

There are indications that the PPP government and some other politicians, like Nawaz Sharif, are encouraging the Americans to get involved in domestic issues especially as a hedge against a powerful Pakistani military. Politicians are aware they have led the country to a national failure on all fronts since the general elections in February 2008. The public mood is gradually turning against them. This has stoked the rumor mill about disgruntlement within the Pakistani military regarding the failures of the politicians.Washington is spending nearly one billion dollars to expand its Islamabad embassy. On completion, the US embassy in Islamabad will become the largest in the world.
Interestingly, both the government, led by President Zardari, and the opposition, led by Nawaz Sharif, refuse to question why Washington has been granted exceptional concessions to construct an imperial-size embassy and how at least 18 acres of the most expensive real state in the capital has been handed over to the Americans for this purpose at throwaway prices.

India and Pakistan are the focus of a lot of foreign policy attention in recent years–and for good reason: Both are rival nuclear powers as well as long-time client states of competing world powers Russia and China, respectively. However, during the last three decades the US has made extensive covert inroads–first into Pakistan–and then into India. Ultimately, I believe, US globalist leaders are attempting to take advantage of this second most populous area of the globe to create a future counter force to China’s growing hegemony. However, in the interim period Pakistan and India have been used to foment both state-sponsored terrorism and nuclear proliferation on behalf of CIA black operations. Bits and pieces of this story have began to emerge from the statements of retired Lieutenant General Hamid Gul who was the head of Pakistan’s Inter Service Intelligence Agency from 1987 to 1989, the last two years of the CIA-managed, secret war against the Soviets in Afghanistan.
General Gul obviously knows a lot about the CIA’s relationship with Osama bin Laden and other “former” US allies in the proxy war against the Soviets–perhaps too much. Whereas the US tells the story that Osama bin Laden turned against the US, Gul believes the covert mission of the CIA for bin Laden changed, creating a top secret group of private terrorists called al Qaeda that would be used to act as a catalyst for intervention and change in the New World Order.
Gul, for example, does not believe that al Qaeda pulled off the 9/11 attacks independent of the US, but that it was an “inside job.” Gul told Alex Jones in a December 2008 interview that “9/11 took place on the American soil, [and] not a single person has been caught inside America, even though for doing such a job I think [it would] require a huge amount of logistic support in the area where such operation is carried out.” He’s absolutely correct. The hijacked airliners alone were incapable of bringing down the two main WTC towers, let alone building 7 which symmetrically imploded even though never directly hit or structurally damaged by debris.

The political objective In this world, as laid down by the Quran for humanity, Is Universalism which shall be achieved by adopting a common code of life, obtainable from the Quranic Injunctions, laws and permanent values. Tribal instinct persisted in all forms of living, from families and tribes to the present national states. Each social group promotes friendship between its members and hostility towards other group, in order to maintain its own interests. Thus hostility to the outer groups is as characteristic of nations as it was of tribes. Every nation has feelings of ill-will and hatred towards its neighbor. Nationalism is a feeling which is born out of hatred and lives on enmity. It does not form merely a political grouping, it has developed in to a cult which arouses in the Individual passionate devotion to his nation and violent antipathy to other nations. Aldous Huxley says: Nationalism leads to moral ruin. because it denies universality, denies the existence of a single God, denies the value of the human being as a human being: and because at the same time It affirms exclusiveness, encourages variety, pride and self satisfaction, stimulates hatred and proclaims the necessity and rightness of war.

Chaos In A Major Christian Denomination Regarding Obama!
My name is Mel Sanger, an international political researcher. In February 2008 I and my group of 5 political research analysts were asked by a Major American Christian Church (can’t name it for obvious reasons) to investigate whether Barack Obama had any involvement with the freemason new world order.
The Christian organization had received numerous calls and emails from its congregational members during 2007 and early 2008 asking whether Barack Obama was the Biblical Antichrist. It would seem that there were a number of teachers in the organization who were teaching this view which was conflicting with the organizations overall general major public support for Obama.
The confusion was causing major issues inside the church and they wanted a political research team without any ties to the organization or political biases to address the matter and report back on the findings. So we gladly accepted the task of tackling this subject.

Pakistan: Vision & History Of Pakistan
A Tribute To Two Great Muslims
Up to 1930 Muslims of British India were like grains of sand that every gust of wind would scatter about, and any breaker would wash away. They were like a camel without a nose string and the convoy without a destination or guide and leader. Their endeavors were as ephemeral as a gust of wind or a splash of sea water. In the midst of this disorder and turmoil, rose a man, whom Allah Almighty’s bounty had gifted not only with sound reason but also with vision. He beckoned the scattered multitudes to their true destiny, predetermined for them by Quran and pointed out the way to achieve their goals in context of the state of affairs then obtaining in India. He analyzed the situation surrounding them. In the city of Allah Almighty abad, he pronounced in clear terms the prediction that an Islamic state was ordained for the Muslims in North West of India.

It is said that truth is stranger than fiction. Quaid-e-Azam’s life is a case in point.
What kind of reaction would be expected from an “educated” Pakistani, if one were to ask him or her: Do you think Quaid-e-Azam was inspired by the Quran or the Prophet (PBUH) in his struggle for Pakistan? The most likely reaction will be: Quran and Quaid-e-Azam? – Are you serious? And our Prophet (PBUH) and Quaid-e-Azam? – Are you kidding? Quaid-e-Azam was more like a British and a product of their culture. How could he be inspired by the Quran or the Prophet (PBUH)? Yes, he fought for Pakistan. But his motives were political and economic, not Islamic. He wanted to improve the economic condition of Muslims who were dominated by the Hindus. He was not a good Muslim himself but he used Islam very effectively as a slogan to make a case for a separate homeland for Muslims. He proved to be a great leader. And to accomplish his goals he employed his highly skilled legal mind as a weapon in his fight with the Hindus and the British, which earned him a place in history. He had nothing to do with Islam as such. He wanted Pakistan to be a secular state, not an Islamic state.

(Some Important Aspects)
… I lead no party; I follow no leader. I have given the best part of my life to careful study of Islam, its law and polity, its culture, its history and its literature. This constant contact with the spirit of Islam, as it unfolds itself in time, has, I think, given me a kind of insight into the significance as a world fact. It is in the light of this insight, whatever its value, that while assuming that the Muslims of India are determined to remain true to the spirit of Islam, I propose, not to guide you in your decision, but to attempt the humbler task of bringing clearly to your consciousness the main principle which, in my opinion, should determine the general character of these decisions.

Why was Pakistan created? What was its genesis and what ideology was driving the Pakistan movement? Why did a vast majority of Muslims support the idea of Pakistan and why did a majority of the Islamic scholars (Ulema) oppose it?
